This woman was working on a ranch when she was attacked by a bear. The bear clawed at her face atleast once, ripping off most of the woman's scalp and causing deep gash marks on her face.
Two good sized dogs, both of them her pets, began to circle the bear and bark. The bear let go and scrambled off into the woods.
Her face was torn but the woman managed to make her way to her vehicle and then drive 4 miles to the nearest Fire Station.
She endured just over a year of numerous operations...
